Fall Pumpkin and Unfinished

The long year of pandemic of 2020 stretched out to 2021. I can’t believe it is October already, and soon another year will be here. I started this painting two years ago, right before the 2020 pandemic. I was not very inspired to paint that year but a few landscapes that I had started and didn’t finish. It seems like I start a few and always have something to work on. I am trying to get inspired to change what I paint. After I finish this one, I have plans for more intimate art, paintings that tell a story. We will see if I manage one or two before the end of 2021. I have made it my personal goal.

I don’t know how to finish this one. I signed it and gave up on it. It may become something else if I put it away and bring it back out for a second revival.

This next one was a revived third attempt at clouds over a Kansas plain but, I stalled to get more inspiration that never came.

This next one came out surprisingly well. I had all these colors on my palette, and I started out just playing with the knife and colors on the paper. The colors and composition came together really well. It was a happy accident as Bob Ross would say.
