Kansas has had some rough weather this month. They have had lots of rain causing flooding and of course if you live in KS, and OK there are always the tornadoes. It seems they just can’t get a break. So that had me thinking of the peace I feel thinking of Kansas. The wide open spaces and the immense sky are some of the things that I miss about Kansas. But to live there you have to get used to the changes in the weather one day it will be snowing the next day you’ll be in shorts. You can’t sit out in the evening without the sound of cicadas and crickets. When you plant your garden one day and the next day hail will totally destroy it. But then the clouds break up and the sky turns blue, that’s where you find peace. That is Kansas.
